Our little artist!

We bought some new crayons for Rachel just the other day, and she's already putting them to good use. Look what we discovered on the bathroom door tonight:

Play Time!

Rachel is so cute playing with her "baby" and bear. She set them on and off the chairs for a good 30 minutes. She loves being the mama.

Worst Restaurant Ever

Last night Tori and Rachel met me after work and we went to look at some furniture in Salt Lake. Rachel started getting hungry and cranky so we stopped for dinner on the way to the store. When Rachel's screaming reached critical mass, we pulled into the nearest shopping center and determined to find a place to eat. There were 3 choices: Old Spaghetti Factory (Too expensive) Applebee's (Way too crowded) and some place called Virg's, which we originally mistook for a Winger's.

There was a reason that everyone else had gone to Applebee's.

It took us at least 20 minutes to get water and place our orders once we were seated. 45 minutes after that and after Rachel and I had resorted to eating packets of jam to stave off our hunger the salads finally arrived. After we'd finished the salads, we waited another 20 minutes or so for the food to com but when it did, she confused her orders and brought us the wrong order. When we finally got our actual food, it was mediocre at best.

The thing was all of the waitresses but ours were doing great. At one point, we counted 5 tables in our vicinity all assigned to the same poor waitress that were all waitng at least 20 minutes for food. She was so bad I really felt sorry for her.

The night wasn't a total wash becuase RC Willey's had a dining table to match our chairs for only $59. We strapped it to the roof of the Elantra and stuck to the side streets for the 40 mile trip home from W. Jordan.
