Hill Air Show
The air show was at Hill AFB over the weekend and we decided to go and check it out, despite the threat of bad weather. The first few hours were great, it was cloudy, but not raining and not too hot.
This is what often happens when Wesley is asked to smile:

We did a lot of looking at the sky:

By about noon, the wind started picking up, they grounded the planes and put the show on hold. While debating whether or not to wait out the storm, it started raining heavily and we (and about 100,000 other people) simultaneously decided to leave. After about 20 minutes of running frantically through the rain like we were being chased by Nazis with a stroller laden with children and lawn chairs- we finally made it to the van. It took another hour to get off the base because of the traffic jam caused by the mass exodus. The children were not happy:

Temple Square: A Rachel's Eye View
We had stake conference at the Conference Center on Sunday. Afterward, we walked around Temple Square with the kids. Rachel wanted to pick the flowers, but we talked her into taking pictures of them instead:

Fathers and Sons Camp - Year 2
Even though the ground was hard and it was freezing cold and the tent almost blew over in the middle of the night, we made it through the whole campout with no vomiting- I'll call that a success.

Garden
This year we got a spot in the Clearfield community garden and are excited to have a garden again this summer. Yesterday we finished planting the rest of our vegetables. We are doing tomatoes, peppers, beets, swiss chard, carrots, onions, leeks, arugula, potatoes, beans and cucumbers.
We're also growing some herbs on the balcony at home.
