First Day of School

This can be file under 'posts that would be a lot better if they'd been written by Tori'

But, since she is currently not able to be the mommy she'd like to be, daddy is doing his best to fill in.

Rachel's hair isn't combed, her snack was hurriedly thrown together, the school supplies were dumped into her backpack on the way out the door and we didn't arrive until several minutes after the bell rang-

But, I did manage to get a picture of a very excited 5-year-old in front of her school, and on the way home she said that she couldn't wait to go back again tomorrow, so I hope we're doing OK.

Home Health Care

Nurse Tyler is on duty:

(so is an actual nurse, available anytime on call and for in-home visits every 3 days)

I've successfully kept my wife alive and intravenously hydrated for over 24 hours now.

I came across this book the other day. I can't decide whether I should make fun of it's ridiculous title and the rabbit with an IV on the cover, or buy a copy for our kids to explain why their mother is in bed all day and hooked up to a strange device....

It's going to be a fun 9 months!!!

Thank goodness for insurance

I went to pick up Tori's prescription at a pharmacy we hadn't been to before so they didn't have our insurance on file.  The $10 copay is a lot easier to swallow than the original $1,344 bill for a 30 pills:

Lloyd Family Reunion

We are getting so bad at remembering the camera and taking pictures lately that the only photo we have of last weekend's family reunion was this one that I accidentally took with my phone while trying to get Wesley to take a nap in our tent:

(As it turns out, it's pretty hard to get a 2-year-old to take a nap while camping)
