Clearfield Aquatic Center

We finally bought a family membership to the city recreation center where, in addition to fitness/gym equipment, there are also several fun swimming pools. We went last night and took some pictures. (Unfortunatly the camera's batteries were dead, so these taken from my cell phone will have to do:)

They have an outdoor splash pool that has a part which is only a few inches deep. Perfect for people like Rachel:
In the background you can see the lifegaurd. It makes sense that there would be a lifeguard on duty, but why would she need her red floatation/lifesaving thing in water that only comes up to your ankles?
Who would have imagined that it isn't a good idea to dive into a pool that is only 4" deep?
