So Sick-Already

What? I chose to do this? Why? The first trimester for me is sooo hard. I'm just starting week 6 of being prego, and I am already sick. I still have about 9-11 weeks of this upset stomach. I don't want to complain too much, because so far, I am not as sick this time around as I was with Rachel. Still, I feel like death, I have to give a huge THANKS to Tyler who is such a support and so understanding. He is mister Mom now along with all his other duties. He is so great to be patient and willing to help.
Any ideas on how to lessen morning/all day sickness. FYI-GINGER DOES NOT WORK!

  2. You know what? That would be great, but I will not be able to eat it. Could you make it kid friendly, like mac n cheese!:) I feel the worst for Rachel. She too has been sooo patient and wonderful. Tyler has really done a great job too. It will be great to let him off the hook one night. What about tomorrow?

  3. when i was feeling sick with isaiah my midwife told me to take vitamin b12 in combination with something else, but i can't remember now. maybe you can ask your doctor about it. it was all stuff you can just pick up at the store and it really helped me. if i remember i will re-comment on your post, k?

  4. it's zinc and vitamin b12. ask your doctor for the dosage, i think it's one zinc and half a vitamin b12 at night and half a vitamin b12 in the morning, or something like that. hope it helps.

  5. Have never heard this before the other day, but my friend told me eating more protein is supposed to help morning sickness. I'm so sorry you're feeling crappy! You can do it though! We'll be praying for you.

  6. Tyler, congrats to you and Tori (and Rachel) on the upcoming new addition to your fam! And you're right, pregnancy does give Tori a good excuse to cry during The Biggest Loser - maybe I'll just lie and tell everyone that's why I'm crying during the show, too :)

  7. If you're interested in using medication to decrease symptoms, Zofran, I hear, removes the nausea.

  8. Do I have to get Zofran from the DR.?

  10. Yea, it's definitely not OTC. It's a prescription that has been used to remove nausea from chemo-therapy patients. I hear it's amazing (and not cheap). I'm not sure what the risks/side effects are.
