I had a really great birthday. I love birthdays. Some people say that will change, but for now, I enjoy celebrating my life. Rachel and Tyler were so nice to plan a dinner gathering and to buy this yummy cake. Yes-I ate some!
The best part was recieving this gift from Tyler. He bought me the new Kindle. It holds up to 3,500 books. It is perfect. I do like to read, but I also read a lot of research papers and text books to prepare for my wellness classes. This will be great to own these books now rather than running to the library and usually paying late fees for keeping too long. Plus, they wont overload my book shelf. I can keep them all in the palm of my hand. These Kindles are so new that they are just now shipping them out -hence the cardboard cutout below. I should be getting mine Tuesday. I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Tori! I was just telling Dave, the night we went out for our anniversary, how bad I want a kindle. I had no idea how awesome they were 'til I played with the Nook at B&N. Kindles are cheaper, so I want one. BAD. Awesome!
