We showed our Clearfield city pride by attending the grand opening of our new Commuter Rail station yesterday. (Plus, we heard that they were giving away free food and we were too lazy to cook breakfast)

We live close enough to the tracks that you can hear the trains going by and Rachel always runs to the window when she hears one and say's "Choo-choo". Yesterday, we finally got to see one up close. The wait for a ride was almost 1 1/2 hours, but it was pretty cool to ride.
neat! dave's going to start taking it to work starting tomorrow! we'll save about $150 a month in gas! (he gets to ride free since he's a state employee, otherwise i don't think we'd save a dime--it's so expensive).
ReplyDeleteCameron does the same thing when the trains go by!! How funny.
ReplyDeleteJohn and Cameron went out yesterday and tried to brave the line... but by the time they got there, the wait was 2 hours... they made it 1 hour and Cameron didn't want to wait in line any longer... but he loved seeing it up close. I'm glad you had a good time!! I bet Rachel had a blast!
Tyler will state to ride it too. We are Weber students so it is free for us too. We will love it!!! Tyler was the only one to wait in line and ride. Rachel was sick.
