We've recently had the misfortune of selecting dud after dud after dud from the Redbox, culminating with tonight's dissapointment: 'I am Legend'
The movie had potential early on, but the premise was terribly executed and fizzled its way to a horrible ending in which our protagonist needlessly kills himself to save humanity. Couldn't he just as easily have pulled the pin and thrown the grenade at the zombie-monsters from the safety of the hatch with the others instead of blowing himself up?
(If I've just ruined the ending of the film for you, consider yourself lucky and don't bother to see it.)

We did see Dan in real Life. We liked it. We didn't like August Rush. It was too cute for us. Keep the suggestions coming. I think we need to watch some classics too.
ReplyDeleteWe watched Martian Child last night which we thought was really funny. And I am Legend was TOTALLY creepy, I hated it. Did you watch the alternate ending though? I found it on youtube...it's much better than the real ending.
ReplyDeletei was wondering about that ending to. it seemed pointless that he had to die. i still thought it was okay, but i'm not into jumpy movies. brock said that he saw an alternate ending online where he didn't die in the end.
