It's already Christmas. This as evidenced by the banners we saw and the carols we heard over the speakers as we shopped this afternoon at Wal-Mart:

It seems that they must have carted Halloween off sometime last night as we were all trick-or-treating and set stage for the holiday season to begin.
We shopped at WalMart today too and both Brian and I were extremely appalled at the sudden switch to Christmas. I was so mad when I left there and had Christmas songs stuck in my head for an hour after that. What happened to Thanksgiving?? That's so crazy!
ReplyDeletei know, i actually went to walmart, too, last night, and i couldn't believe the displays and music, it's crazy! it's sad, too, that Thanksgiving is being pushed aside like that. well, nobody buys presents for Thanksgiving, it's not a very commercial holiday, i suppose... ;(
ReplyDeletedo you think me making my gift list and christmas cards list for family and friends this morning is the result of my walmart trip last night??? oh no, i fell into the trap!!!! shame on me... ;)
I just can't wait for the Christmas to come!
ReplyDeleteI love all these sales!
