Labor Day

We rented a yurt in the Ashley National Forest over the weekend.  On the way up, the tire on the van that had been repaired a few months back gave up the ghost after about 18 miles on a dirt road.  We put the spare on and drove VERY slowly the remaining few miles to camp.  The next day Dave and I headed to Vernal with the flat tire in the hopes that we could find a tire shop open on a Sunday so that we didn't have to come all the way back down the mountain on the dinky spare tire.  Walmart was the only option, but I was happy for it.  We had a great time camping, hiking, hanging out by the fire and visiting Dinosaur Nat. Monument.  Not a bad way to round out the summer.
