Do you not have distinct memories of building houses for our McDonald's toys out of those blocks Dad made? I assume it must have looked something like this to Mom and Dad, whereas I remember it looking like a giant, awesome creation!
Last time we were at mom and dad's the kids had the blocks out. I'd forgotten how many of those blocks had also served as 'tombstones' for dead fish and hamsters with their names and death dates written on them...
